UNOCU now supports BloFin, a cryptocurrency derivatives exchange offering spot and futures trading. Users can connect their BloFin account to the UNOCU dashboard and start pulling portfolio data in minutes.
BloFin is the seventh exchange integration on the platform, joining Coinbase, Coinbase Prime, Kraken, Gemini, Binance, and Bybit. This update is available to all UNOCU users today.
What This Means for Your Dashboard
Once connected, UNOCU reads your funding account balances from BloFin via their API. That data feeds directly into the modules you already use:
•Umbrella — portfolio value, asset allocation, and P&L across all connected accounts
•Nurture — treasury health metrics that include your BloFin holdings
•Compound — staking and yield tracking for assets held on BloFin
•Utilize — trading data and activity from your BloFin account
UNOCU does not hold or move assets. It reads data only. Your funds stay on BloFin at all times.
How to Connect Your BloFin Account
BloFin requires three credentials to establish an API connection: an API Key, an API Secret, and a Passphrase. The passphrase is a password you set yourself when creating the API key. Follow these steps to get connected.
On BloFin
1.Log in to your BloFin account at blofin.com
2.Navigate to Account > API Management
3.Click Create API Key
4.Set the permissions to read-only. Do not enable trading or withdrawal permissions.
5.Set a passphrase when prompted. This is a password you choose to secure the API key.
6.Copy the API Key, API Secret, and Passphrase provided. Store them securely — the Secret is only shown once.
On UNOCU
7.In UNOCU, go to Connectors from the sidebar menu
8.Find the BloFin card and click Connect
9.Enter all three credentials: API Key, API Secret, and Passphrase
10.Click Test Connection. UNOCU will verify the credentials against the BloFin API and show a summary of accounts found.
11.Once tested successfully, click Save Connection
After saving, your BloFin data will begin syncing to the dashboard. Initial sync typically completes within a few minutes.
Security and Permissions
UNOCU uses read-only API access. It cannot execute trades, move funds, or modify anything on your BloFin account. The integration reads from the BloFin funding account balances endpoint and nothing else.
When creating your API key on BloFin, set permissions to read-only. Do not enable trading or withdrawal permissions. The passphrase you set acts as an additional layer of security on top of the API key and secret.
UNOCU never takes custody of your assets. Your funds remain on BloFin and under your control.
Plan Availability
Starter plan users can connect one exchange. Growth plan users ($49/month) can connect unlimited exchanges. If you are already on the Growth plan, BloFin is available immediately with no additional cost.
