Connecting your first exchange

UNOCU connects to major crypto exchanges via read-only API keys. This guide walks you through connecting Coinbase, Binance, or Kraken.

Before you begin

You'll need an account on the exchange you want to connect, and the ability to generate API keys in that exchange's settings.

Connecting Coinbase

  1. In your UNOCU dashboard, go to Settings → Connectors
  2. Click Add Exchange and select Coinbase
  3. In Coinbase, go to Settings → API Access → New API Key
  4. Set permissions to Read Only — never grant trading or withdrawal access
  5. Copy the API Key and Secret into UNOCU
  6. Click Test Connection to verify

Connecting Binance

  1. In Binance, go to Account → API Management
  2. Create a new key with Read Only permissions
  3. Whitelist UNOCU's IP if required (shown during setup)
  4. Paste the key and secret into UNOCU's Connectors page

Connecting Kraken

  1. In Kraken, go to Settings → API → Create New Key
  2. Enable only Query Funds and Query Open Orders
  3. Paste into UNOCU

Once connected, UNOCU automatically syncs your balances, positions, and transaction history.
